Cracker, A company named Eelco sp. made the adapter back in the 60's. I was running a hopped up Corvair Spyder engine in a 66 VW. Something in the neaighborrhood of 200hp. Carried the front end well into second gear as long as the axles didn't snap. Used to eat up a lot of muscle cars off the line with that. Triumph GT6 I brought back from Germany in '70 after I totaled my Lotus Europa was a fun car too.

For better or worse, the Yugo is a part of history and tells alot about the era in which it was produced. Kudos to those who preserve that kinda stuff. :applause:
