Kai,
The Coffee was the best I've had.
I brought home a bag and took it to my brother's house for Christmas.
The food was the best!!!
I found a new fish that's right up there with Halibut. (They call it Ono)
We looked at a small coffee farm, 10.3 acres... only 485K.
The Hawaiians have a great point of view in regards to Luau...You don't eat until you get full, You eat until you get tired!
I always thought that "Island Fever" was like "Cabin Fever" (Like as to the space is too small), But I'm begining to think that "Island Fever" is a deep desire to return there, because that's all I've been thinking about these last couple of days. I didn't want to leave when it came time to pack up and head home. That place is an absolute true paradise!!! Hilo is just like Eureka. North of Kona is just like the Capetown and Petrolia along the Lost Coast area. They even have redwood trees over there. OK... Yes they are very small, but they are still redwood trees. I've already sat my kids down and talked with them about following my lead, if and when I do return to stay. I bought a CD colection today called Instant Immersion Hawaiian to learn how to speak the language. I've been listening to The Best of the Hawaiian Style Band for about two days now. I especially like two cuts by Robi Kahakalau; Kaimana Hila & No Ke Ano Ahiahi, her voice just sends me!
Help!!! Somebody... Please Make This Stop!!! I'm Starting To Go Crazy!!!
