Graduation tonight (June 1st, 2007)

Postby csdivine » Fri Jun 01, 2007 1:24 pm

First, it's almost impossible to believe that yet another one of mine is passing out into the adult world. My second-oldest daughter is graduating from high school tonight. I swear she's growing older much FASTER than I am.

It was only 24 years ago I was doing this myself!!

With one more still in high school and one ready to enter grade school, we know we have many more adventurous years ahead of us, but it's nice to see each one of them spread their wings and venture out into the great unknown. We can only hope that we gave them the tools they need to survive out there, and then wish them luck and let them know they always have a place here to recuperate.

congratulations
I know when our youngest turned 18 and was graduating, we wondered how the years had passed so quickly.

You know, it is only a few years now till she will want a teardrop of her own. But it will only feel like a few months, time slips by so fast.
