DSL problem

Not quite yet,
I did finally get the modem to work temporarily by unplugging some of the other devices, but there appears to be some glitch in the wiring causing the modem to not work when those devices are reconnected, yes I did put filters on those devices. Also, when someone dials out on line 2 it kickes the modem offline. That shouldn't happen with DSL, right?
I'm not going to worry much about it until after I get back from Mendocino.
