How about a Bunco (Bunko) game at a gathering??

Postby doug hodder » Wed Jul 18, 2007 12:02 am

Not sure on the spelling, but it's a great dice game and you can really get a group involved...someone that has been to them or are in a regular group please post and help me out on this. 4 people at a table, several tables, partners that win move up, those that lose stay at the table. I've only played it twice, but I think it would be great evening event at a gathering...anyone out there done it?...a quick check on the search function indicates that there are no posts on it. Anyone got some help? Doug

Great game to meet people and break the Ice. AND it includes several people, you can even do more then the recommended number of tables. Door prizes

I'm working on getting out to IRG next year. Mel wants to take a different route though. What happens if the gift IS a pipe?

Rocky...if that is the case then there will only be you and I that get it, and I'll be happy to win it....it'd make a good story down the road, for those "round the campfire things......aside from the inside story between Rocky and I, this is a killer game and a lot of fun, who else has played it? .....Doug

The wife plays it once a month with a bunch of her Junior Hi teacher friends.

They have a ball. I just have to leave the house. It's women only for this group.

They even took a Bunco Cruise through the Islands.

Being that the IRG 2.0 is in Nor Cal, maybe the prize should be a bong instead of a pipe.

I thought the pipe was for the Emerald Triangle! :o What else would you use a pipe for? Oh yea, for plumbing, right?

Tommy Chong used to sell them next door in Gardena CA but I think he moved after he did time in the slammer.
Cheech has a better career and did not have to sell merchandise to get by.

I used to play bunco, it was really fun. I think it would be a great gathering event, altho not quite as thrilling as blowing corks out of glass bottles!

i want to play liars dice. any takers?? er, liars???
