Shanksville, Pennsylvania Flight 93 Memorial

Postby PresTx82 » Tue Sep 11, 2007 10:03 pm

On our family trip to Maine this summer we stopped in to Shanksville, PA to visit the Flight 93 Memorial. It was a very moving place. I'll leave it at that and share these pictures on this 6th anniversary of this terrible event.

Never Forget !!!!

They were brave Americans caught up in a situation not of their own making, and they handled it, like the brave Americans that they were.

Thank You for sharing the photos... It does bring tears to our eyes here in Finland..

I was onboard ship working when all Tv Channels were broadcasting the news of the Terrible Event..Our ships Captain stopped the ship and all onboard held 30 minutes of prayer and silence.

We hope and Pray that this never takes place again..Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people that died and to their loved ones..And all those involved in the Rescue Work..

May the memories of these people never be forgotten..Amen.
