It's that time of year again when strange things can be spotted on the horizon on you way to work. It's time the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. This year we have over 700 balloons particapating from all over the world. Heres a few picts of what I saw on the way to work. Enjoy

I went to a balloon fest in Steam Boat Springs Colorado once...it was fantastic! I want to go to the one in Albuquerque too. My best friend is moving to Albuquerque soon ... so maybe next year I can go see them, since I can stay at her place!

I am so sorry to hear about the woman that died.... Sounds pretty freaky!

But.... Mandy, I was there this weekend! I arrived about 1:00 am Sat morning and left Sunday at 8:00 am. I had friends staying at the Marriott and had permission to park the Cherry Drop in the parking lot, then shared the bathroom in their room.... The sky's were perfect Sat and Sun mornings, the balloons were great! The winds came up too much Sat night so they cancelled the Balloon glow but the fireworks show was amazing...

Of course the Cherry Drop drew her share of attention in the hotel parking lot and Brandie and I had a great time.... Had I realized Mandy was there I could have cought up with you on Sat... Sure enjoyed seeing Albuquerque for the first time in 20 years!!!

It saddens me that some one has died. The winds have been very unpredictable lately, its hard to tell when a gust will hit.

Pam: I wish I knew you were here I could have visited you and the cherry drop. So how did you like the crowd on Saturday. I think the news said that Saturdays attendence was the most ever for the balloon fiesta. :shock:

Ira: So thats the teradactyl thats been crapping on my car. :lol:

I'll update with more picts tomorrow if I get some.
