It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

I thought so too. Otherwise, I wouldn't have brought it up.

I got a set today. they don't have a name on them anywhere, but they are all aluminum, and spin fairly freely, well there isn't any grit or catches while I spin them.

In any case, I will try to get time to work on putting the bike together today... if I can find a pump.. 8)

Chris Robinson of Robinson Wheelworks in San Leandro, CA is sending you a pump.

I have also been asked if you know of another soldier looking for a MTB.

Or anything else.

Do you guys need a workstand for instance?

thanks for the pump. a work stand would be great. My new bike is right now leaning against the bench in my office. I spent about an hour on it today. (quick tip... don't use duct tape on a bike... man that adhesive is hard to get off!)

You bet! I have a Sergeant working for me that would appreciate a bike. I sleep about 1 1/2 miles to 2 miles from where I work and the airfield I visit to see my troops is 4 or 5 miles away (you have to go around the runways)...

we will definitely use them!

I've sent that along. We'll see what it produces.
