We, over here in the States love to watch a good sporting event (football, basketball, soccer, etc.) on major Holidays.
Do you have a similar custom (fetish) in OZ?

It gives the guys an excuse to get out of the kitchen until it's all cleaned up. Then we go up and make leftover sandwiches and spill soda and chips all over the place.
What about your customs?

No sports on here on Christmas Day, I guess with it being Summer we normally eat and drink all day out in the sun, although it's a little cool today :( We dont have Turkey every year, if it's a really hot Summer seafood cooked on the BBQ is another option.

Right now we're listening to some music and the birds out on the deck :) While the turkey cooks.

Cheers

Now let me see Did Our Andrew Have his Christmas first or Did Paul C.
If I look on this map those os us in California will be among the last to be starting Christmas .... putting out our cookies and milk for Santa ... I put out a gallon Jug of water mixed with Gageraid for the Raindeer. And a shot of whiskey for rudoff to keep his nose RED. And as we are opening our presents Paul and Andrew have set trash cans out on the street for Santa-tation man to pick up and have started a new work day.

Oh so Merry Christmas 07 to all of you
(for those who are closer to New Years,
Happy New years to you) :?
I will come for you there sooner then I think and we can all do this again 364-5 rotations from now.

Seasons Greetings to you all
