MySpace... anybody there?

Postby oklahomajewel » Tue Jan 01, 2008 12:32 pm

Okay. I'm 44 y/o and not OLD by any means... never thought I really would want a MySpace page but started one. Mostly to put pics, blogs, etc about CHL hockey, teardropping, etc.

Of course it's OklahomaJewel

I made a simple page, but looking at some layout generators etc.
I used blinkyou.com and then just found lovemyflash.com and really like their layouts!!!

If you're there, can we be friends? What layout websites have you found that are good. I like lovemyflash so far cuz it doesn't look like the common myspace page.

Thanks !
Julie

Most of the people on mine are just a little out of the ordinary, trust me, it is best to stay clear of them. I have some seriously strange friends. 8)
It wasn't something I would have done either. I think I've seen it maybe twice in the last couple of months.
I don't care for them primarily because you wind up with too many quacks and advertisers if you don't set it to private and if you have to do that, what's the point.

Seams like MySpace is too open and has lots of flaws. And alot of weird people going after kids not knowing. It's easier to hack to get your info.
Guess I'm getting too old.

Hi Oklahomajewel. My wife just got on My Space about 3 days ago.
She is 65 years old. Roxie is trying to figure everything out. She is at work at the Hospital right now. When she gets back I will tell her that you just got on My Space. :)

Myspace – about 2.5 feet behind staring at a computer screen – this is MY space. I don’t do the myspace thing – have too many friends who know WAY too many seminary stories and are willing to post them. 8)

BTW Oklahomajewel, we tried making the Ziploc RV Omelets and they turned out great. Very simple and almost foolproof. I have tried making omelets before and burnt every one of the – my friends started calling them Cajun blackened omelets ( I’m sure that was an insult to my cooking). I now stand redeemed.

I've got the same name on MySpace that I do here. Expect a friend request from me! :)
