An update for 2008… The 69 has mad a successful round trip to the heart of the Doug Zone. The Camaro is now running a fuel injected 302 backed up by a junk yard found GM remanufactured 2004R automatic overdrive. I am still tweaking the injection system but it did get 15 mpg. I know it has some more room for improvement. The gas stations are going to love it when Gage and I pull in.

Glad to hear you made it home with no problems Dan. Really a nice clean engine swap. It was good to see you and Charlie...we just got to get him building one! As a bystander, it sounded really good going past the house on your way out. I had to go to the store, so knew that you made it as far as Cameron Park with no problem, hey, it's all downhill from up here! Take care, Doug
