I use CFLs, not because I'm deluding myself that I'm saving the planet, but simply because I can get the equivalent of a 100 watt light bulb for about 25 watts of energy. But the law of unintended consequences comes into play when it's time to dispose of them.

This one is enviromental safe with he use of natural gas.
As you can see though- Do not use in the tear. :lol:

Never mind the mercury - I love all the advice about the dangers of broken glass and how you have to clean it up carefully before walking on the rugs in bare feet. Who would've thought of that?
