Rest in Peace Daisy...

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Hey Doug,

As with others, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. You will miss her bunches but down the road all that will be left are the great memories you had with her. Perhaps after a bit of time, you'll be ready to pick up another furry four legged creature who will glory in your love and companionship.

I've lost several pets over the years, each bring their own unique memories I know I'm a better person for having loved each of them.

I'll keep you in my prayers as you deal with the loss of Daisy.

Doug: Sorry to hear about Daisy's passing. Even though I really didn't know her, if I had met her, I am sure we would be the best of friends. Take care and God Bless.

Doug,
Loosing a pet is always painful. She was a very special dog, thanks for sharing her with all of us.

Doug...I'm so sorry...

My wife and I have been married for 27 years. In that time we have been blessed with two dogs...a short haired Saint Bernard (Kay) that lived a good life of 16 years and a Chocolate Lab (Wilson) that raised my kids and hunted birds like there was no tomorrow. I miss them dearly...

In both cases, the loss was terrible. However, we did get a new dog last winter....a 7 month old Springer Spaniel (Danny) from the pound. He had been abused, but he has also grown into a special part of our life. For what it is worth...I'm not sure whether Danny is a blessing or a curse...but he sure shows the signs of being a great family dog with a big heart.

My wish to you is that Daisy remains a fond memory...and that once the sadness dims...that you can move on and find another. Pets mean so much in our personal lives.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

A friend sent me this quote today..Appropriate, I think.

"No matter how little money and how few possessions you own, having a dog makes you rich" Louis Sabin

I'm sure Daisey has made you a rich man!

Hi Doug,

We are so sorry to hear about Daisy. Brandie and I will miss seeing her with you. She was an amazing dog and a mighty camper. You are in our thoughts as you adjust. We feel your pain.

Doug, I am so sorry for you loss of your great pal Daisy. I was privileged to meet her at the SLO last year and know how tough it is to loose a friend like that. she must have been a very special dog.

Hi Doug, what can I say… She was a good dog.
This was the last pic I got of her, the day after she hurt paw at the 15 Dam gathering.

We got to meet Daisy at both ITG gatherings in Minden. What a faithful companion she was for you, Doug. I cried this morning when I read the news.... I have had to put down two dogs and know how painful it is to have to do it but it's all in keeping the suffering to a minimum. You did the right thing, brother.......

Doug,

Vanessa and I extend our condolence for your recent loss. Our pets are like family. My late entry includes looking for this picture taken at SLO, the first of many times we will meet you.

Dude, that sucks. Sometimes losing a four legged friend can be worse then losing a two legged friend. I'm sorry for your loss, man.
