Memorial Day Parade

Postby Catoosa Grani » Sun May 25, 2008 10:44 am

The MINI Cooper group was invited to drive in a parade here in Ok. It was a great turn out with 14 MINI's and everyone was excited to see them. BUT - :applause: What got the most attention was, we took our Teardrop. We were last in line and you should have seen the faces when they saw us coming. Jon, our son, also took his TD. We really got a lot of comments and many wanted to know where to get one. Of course we did a lot of show and tell after the parade. It was a very little town with a very short Main street and most there had never seen a TD before. One man said, "Oh, you pull your garage with you". A lady asked me if we had little bitty people in it. One of our friends said "Yes, and when we get to main street they will get out and entertain you".

Hope everyone has a fun and safe week end.

Yes we sure did. I am waiting for him to e-mail them to me. He would run ahead and take pictures and every time I looked up, there he was. I asked him if he was triplets. I will put pics on as soon as I get some.

I finally got the pics from the guy who took them. I put several in my album if anyone is interested.

Did you see that red, white & blue horse? Weird and I am sure the horse was embarassed and humiliated.

The guy following with the scoop shovel did a good job.
