I'm stunned...
Home town hero, Hillary Will of Fortuna drives top fuel for their team.
My heart goes out to Scott's dad; Connie, Scott's wife Kathy, their two boys and the rest of the Kalitta team. :worship:

Yeah.
I had gone to the Craftsman Truck series race on Friday, and was watching the Saturday Busch series race on tv (my dad went). Right after the race was over, they showed the crash. I don't keep up with Funny cars or drag racing, I'm more of a NASCAR gal, but I was very sorry to hear that a race car driver had lost his life while racing.

Yes a very bad weekend indeed. I thought I heard about a guy from the off road truck racing passed as well.
I'll miss this:

On the run when his car blew, he qualified for the next round. In that round Scott's team all lined up in his lane and the guy that was to race him just let his car idle down the strip. It was sad.
