There is a conversion kit and a 2008 Scion "BOX" that is like that setup. I think the "BOX" is $40k last time I looked.

Actually the "eBox" is a conversion by AC Propulsion for 55K... (not including the Scion) so an additional 14K for the car. Price will certainly come down in time. But give credit to the little guy, the small private companies taking the first bold steps to change our dependence on oil - cause it sure didn't come out of Detroit! Or even worse, when it did 10 years ago with the EV1 - it was killed!

I bought that DVD. Wow what an eye opener that was. It was very interesting.
