The rich and famous!

Just thought you'ld like to know --- that you know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone! Guess that's just three degrees of seperation. The pic is a little small but I hope you can see it. On the right is my sister and her husband. They live in Powys, Wales. Their visitor, Prince Charles, stopped by with them for about 45 minutes this past week. My sister said he was very gracious with them. It was a hush hush visit with no fanfare. My sister and her husband couldn't even tell their own kids before he arrived.

I met him twice way back in the sixties. In the seventies when I was away at college my mother and father, and my sister - she was a teenager back then living at home, - were invited to a garden party at The Palace. My older brother, not to miss out on the fun, rented a chauffeurs uniform, and borrowed a friends Rolls Royce and much to the surprise of my mother and father drove them up to Buckingham Palace. My brother says he got the best deal hanging out with all the other chauffeurs and listening to stories of the rich and famous. My mum and dad, both now dead would have been proud to see this picture.

Nah - the priest is Fr. Phil :worship: The occasion was my sons wedding when some of his friends turned up and "kidnapped" the bride holding her for ransom -(honeymoon money) it was very funny (and profitable for my son and new daughter in law)
(In case you're wondering -- priest? kids? --- Church of England in Wales now serving the colonies :) in the Episcopal Church)

I know it well, as I do Bristol, especially Totterdown, Stockwood and Brislington.

I am thrilled to know someone who knows someone who knows someone.
Seriously I think that is a great honor and I am thrilled to hear about it. I recognized him before I read it.
