I made my usual Monday evening after work trip to the supermarket. You would have thought that it was either the end of the world or that a category 5 hurricane was bearing down on us. The parking lot was full. Cars were 3 and 4 deep at the gas pumps. Out of stock on water, potted meat of any type. The shelves were going bare and baskets were full. I picked up the couple of routine items, paid and got the hell out of that zoo.
I always support the idea that people should prepare for a storm. But seriously--it doesn't even look like we will get a moderate blow and minimal rain at that. Talk about a population overreacting. Momma nature will probably deliver a tree to my noggin, but I'm not expecting much out of Dolly here in CC.
(I'm really just pissed cause I couldn't buy any tuna!)
