What is this?

We were camping this weekend and this thing was crawling on the sidewall of our ezup. Anybody know what it is?? Oh, yah, we were in Gettysburg, PA.





BTW: I think it looks phoney, but it is real!!

PS: While I was writing this, my wife found it with a google search. It is a Spicebush Swallowtail that turns into a butterfly. At least it seems that way.

They have those spots on there butt to fend off preditors. It makes there head look really big and it makes things think twice about eating them.

Must be that time of year cause yesterday I found a Luna Moth caterpillar here at work. About 3" long and FAT too.
