Yes they were lucky the water didn't get in her house. I think 3 of her neighbors did get water in their houses . The Bayou Teche runs in back
of their houses. In south Franklin the damages from water was worse. I
have a cousin who lives in that area that had about 18 inches of water in their house. I saved some pictures from the paper that I will bring to LCG111
