It's not ADD if what you're doing is the part you need to finish next before you can get back to the one you were working on when you ran into the problem.
It's not ADD if what you're doing is something to kill time while another part is drying (paint, glue, etc.).
It's not ADD if what you're doing is figuring out how not to have to buy another part because the one you just got off Ebay isn't the size you thought it was (mm vs in).
But if you can't remember which of the sections of the descriptions above caused you to set down the part and start hunting for the tool, it's ADD.
