Just got back from seeing Bill Engvall at the Arkley Center in Eureka. It was fun. :D
That is all.

Yes he did. The Arkley Center is a great venue other than the fact that the chairs and spacing seemed to be from the 50's or 60's with no leg room(real sorry for the guys over 6' tall). Just too dang cramped.
Great show though. Glad I was able to go.

I really enjoy watching Bill on the Comedy Channel specials. I've never seen him or Jeff Foxworthy or Larry the Cable Guy live, but I think it would be great. I'm envious. :envious:

Thanks to my sister, my wife, the kid and his cousin and I were happy to attend. Boy did we luck out. We all had a great time though my seats were balcony center TOP row. It was just a bit warm.

Bill does put on a good show. I like the fact its a clean show, hard to find with most comedy shows anymore.

But I gotta say my favorite two segments are from his older stuff "broke Food"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5FQbnYhEa8
about 8min in

"Tball"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAf1rofM8Rs
30 sec in

Another good show is Jeff Dunham, ventriloquist.
I like anything that turns money into noise.

I always enjoy watching him doing his standup routine. The other evening I decided to rent his movie "Bait Shop". I watched half of the movie, turned it off, and returned it to the store. What a disappointment! Gone Fishin' with Joe Pesci and Danny Glover was a funny movie. Bait Shop...not so much.

It's sad that the movie was so bad. I think he has the ability to be comic actor, but this one didn't help his career.

Yeah, I thought Bait Shop would be better. We saw it free on USA Net. Bill is my favorite blue collar comedian. They are all funny, but Bill acts and story tells best, for me.

But then there's Tater Salad.... "I had the right to remain silent but not the ability."

A couple years ago one of Robert's sons gave him the set of all four of them, each on a separate DVD. They are great for when you want to get away from it all. (like election night  :? . )
