Check out this video of a plane losing a wing and the pilot landing it... I wonder if he'll need to change his jump suit???

It is a fake... It is for a TV commercial.

That one might be fake, but this one is real. The story is true, but the video came after the fact since the whole thing only lasted about 5 minutes from collision to touchdown.

I've seen similar landing with giant scale model airplanes - so it could be plasuable. Sometimes they come in sideways then stall to a hover postion using only the throttle for thrust control

I don't know whether this video is fake or not, but it sure had an effect on me. Several years ago, my brother was piloting his biplane in Northern Illinois. After doing some aerobatics, his two right wings folded up against the plane. The plane dropped like a rock. He and his passenger were killed.

Everyone who knew my brother said that if there had been a way to bring the plane down to a landing, he would have been the one to do it. It just couldn't happen that day.

So, if this was real, the pilot was extremely skillful and very lucky. If it was fake, I want to know how it was done.

All the best...
