Some day I want to put it into some form of a book and put it in the local library. Here in Pennsylvania the libraries have a room that is called the Pennsylvania Room with local history in it. People can put there family history there in book form. Anyone can look at it there but it cannot be removed from that room or the library.

A distant relative of mine did just that, made a book. He found a lot of stories and included them in the book as well. to cover costs he sold copies to the family and gave a copy to the local library Genealogy Room. My daughters have been found looking through my copy and looking at their great granddad and granddad.

I'm thinking of dividing the information into fourths. One for each grandparent's line. I'll make hard copies of the family history I write and the various genealogical charts.

I'll be keeping everything in electronic format and using html to give a starting place to link the information. Such as, a link to the history of Plymouth and highlight the areas that reference to family. I want to make it searchable but I'm not really interested in a strick data=base format. I want to add pictures and information about the person, the family, etc.

For example one of my family lines actually stole the crown jewels in England. Family tradition had it that that's how the individual earned his ticket to America. The truth is, it did happen, however, he stayed in England, returned the jewels and was never arrested. It's really a cool story and there are more twists and turns to iron out before I share more about it.

Anyway, that's some of the tidbits I'll be looking for when I go north to track down more information from the relatives. I'm hoping to stumble upon some diaries, journals, anything written from my ancestors. On the internet I have seen some signatures of some of the relatives, those I'll copy for the personal family history as well.

Is there anything you think I'm missing?
