windshield, minivan, was 'scratched' by metal wiper

Postby Arne » Sun Apr 05, 2009 9:13 pm

the scratch in the minivan windshield is more of a haze and not at all deep. the rubber part of the wiper blade collapsed and the metal end rubbed across the windshield. I know it will leave a distortion, but would like to get rid of the haze part. It is on the outside arc of the passenger side and is very recent... an it is not really in my immediate sight line.

any suggestion of abrasive to use? thought of lapping compound, but thought maybe someone had a better idea.
