A little progress..

I gotta get a new digital camera. And soon... I've been busy at work the past month or so but have found time to:
1. Sand, seal, and 1st coat of varnish on drawers and cabinet doors.
2. Put new wheels, spacers, tires on the frame. Cut off the fenders and
ground down the mounting stubs.
3. Fiberglass in the bottom of the battery box (treasure chest), paint the
inside, and put a coat of varnish on the outside.
4. Started laying out the face frames for the galley cabinets.
5. Still buying stuff to build a teardrop around...

Am just starting on a complete restoration of a 33' Scarab boat and have a couple out-of-town trips planned in the next month. Just finished the tear-down and rebuild of my in-laws' garage so that's out of the way!
Maybe I can squeeze some teardrop time in now and then... Dave

It's an '87 but it lived a hard life in the salt water in Florida. It came up here for a couple months and then sank in the Mississippi River. Our marina bought it from the insurance company and completely stripped and gutted it and shrink-wrapped the hull for 2 years. We just uncovered it 10 days ago and I've already sanded/buffed/polished the hull. We hung new motors on it Friday and installed the T-top framework. I sanded the hardtop and electronics box last week and will shoot it today with Imron to match the gelcoat. Now begins all the wiring, woodwork, new instruments, and figure out something to do with the stabbin' cabin...
