Fire Fox troubles

Postby Jst83 » Tue Dec 01, 2009 6:22 pm

I'm having troubles logging into the Tear Jerkers site. I have no troubles with this site or any others that I have found, but I can't log into that one.

If I open my Internet Explorer browser I can log into the site with no troubles, any one have any possible reasons why I can't get in and how to fix this it is very frustrating :frustrated:

Thanks

 I have no troubles getting in with explorer but it's a pain to open a different browser to get in. It sends me notifications on topics I'm watching just won't open in Firefox.

Scott, did you recently update Firefox. If not, maybe an update would fix it.

As a Firefox user, one of the best add-ons I've found is IE Tab ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419 ) which allows you to use the Internet Explorer viewer from within Firefox - you can swap in and out to see if it fixes the problem.

If it's one of those sites that does really need IE, you can tell IE Tab to automatically switch on the IE viewer any time you visit that web site, so you don't even need to do anything. I access my main work web site using IE Tab every day.

i vouche for IeTab as well it works great. unfortunately i never really use it anymore because i use a mac or linux machine 90% of the time and it only works on windows but for most people its one of the best addons you can have
p.s. xmarks is also a vital addon it keeps your books marks synchronized across multiple machines and it also backs them up for you
