Also look into a home handyman type of job.

These are two very good ideas. I've seen folks paid by family members who live long distances from their parents to go over and check in on them, drive them to the grocery, do small errands, or just spend time with them.

I've also seen a lot of folks advertise on Craigslist that they will provide handyman services, small home repairs, etc.

I read an article recently that might be right up your alley,,, there is a big move starting in Green Roof's,,,, Making a commercial building more enviromentally friendly and reducing its carbon foot print,,, Basically planting hardy plants on rooftops, who would of thought ya might have to landscape ya roof, but in some areas ITS coming,,, Kinda interesting when ya think about it, and there is a fair amount of info out there all ready,,,

Since ya have weeds and seeds knowledge it might be a good consulting and design avenue,, Just thinking outloud

If you LIKE doing handyman work, do it - it's insanely difficult to find reliable, available folks for it.

Cait (who has had this ONE STUPID piece of siding put back up on her house like 4 times because it keeps coming loose, and before you tell me ot do it myself, let me tell you that I don't do heights EVER and it's at the very peak of the gable....)
