Yep, the guv'ment is hiring AND raising the pay scales.....

Wish they'd remember those of us who pay those over priced wages.

:x Jobs out of Springfield MO is only $10.50 per hour. Same jobs should pay the same. Nothing like equal justice. :roll:

15.50 an hour in mass which is kind of surprising considering the cost of living up here. but for people that dont have a job its better then nothing

I agree. People who have been out of work for over 3 or 4 months probably won't give a rip about the difference in pay. I think that we should celebrate the fact that there are some jobs. The government didn't create these position just this year; The necessity to take a census was already in existence. It is a blessing that, unlike some work, these jobs haven't been outsourced to China or India or any other country.

Just my 2 cents.

In PA it ranges from $11.00 to $17.75...the highest paying being along the Jersey boarder so I think that might be considered hazardous duty pay! 8)

:oops: Yep your right! A job is a good thing. Need to work on the equality thing while keeping the jobs.
