I just spoke to Steve's son-in-law(my brother) and Steve is in the hospital with heart problems. He asked if I would make a post for him and let everyone know he's ok, but, want be on the board for awhile. Please keep him,his wife Beth, and his family in your prayers and hopefully he will be back on before you know it. They will be moving him to a regional hospital in Concord NC tomorrow to run more test.~ Ben

:(

Get well soon, Steve! You just got here!

Why not grab yourself a laptop and read T&TTT while you're recovering!

:frustrated:

Okay, that may have been a bit much to ask, but, hey... Hurry back.

*UPDATE*

Ben,
Steve says thanks. It was a mild heart attack. They're gonna do a catheterization Monday afternoon to see if he needs stints or a bypass.

Hi everyone. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I am back home now to recover. They say I should be back to new in about 6-8 weeks. :worship:

I did have a small heart attack Christmas Eve. They sent me to CMC,NE in Concord. They did a cath and found THREE 95% blockages. They did a triple bypass last Tuesday, and I came home this Monday.

I just wanted to say hello to all you guys, but the wife has me on short leash. I must go back down stairs to my room...LOL...maybe I can get back online when she goes to work next week.

WOW!
Steve, you're lucky to be alive! Now that you had your heart repaired, you should be good to go another 30 years...and, in about 6 months, you'll probably feel like you're 30 something years old.

Glad they found the problem and hope you have a smooth, speedy recovery.

Steve,

Glad to hear you are back home, and that your survived your ordeal.

Change something so it doesn't happen again... probably your diet... maybe exercise too! ;)
