Decal Remover ?

Postby Charlie -T » Wed Jan 06, 2010 1:12 pm

Trying to remove paper decal on black metal tool box mounted on tongue. I have gotten the paper off and now can't remove the adhesive! :? Any Suggestions? Thanks, Charlie

If you soak it in WD 40 and let it sit for a while, it will take the adhesive off easily.

Bestine. You get it at art supply stores. You could use it on a Ferrari without fear of hurting the paint, and it is made to dissolve adhesives.

Yeah - this stuff (smooth PB) is great to get chewing gum out of one's hair.

Decal Remover?

Postby Charlie -T » Thu Jan 07, 2010 1:10 pm

Thanks everyone for the help! I had some WD-40 which i used this morning and it worked like a charm! The other items offered as a solution i am sure would have worked as well, even the PB? Thanks again: It is 12:00 PM CST and all is well! Charlie

O it's a long story - but have you heard your suppose to put your bubble gum on the bed post at night - well as a young tike I didn't do that and it ended up in my hair. That was when Bazooka Gum was gum. You just couldn't throw it out .
