My first car, the year was 1959 and it was a stock 1940 Ford opera coupe. It had a flathear V-8. After a few years I pulled the flathead and inatalled a 56 Olds, first with a 37 LaSalle trans and later on I changed the trans to a Olds Hydro with a 57 Pontiac rearend. I dated my wife in this car. I had this car for 18 years and if I had only been smart enough to keep it, but I still have my wife after 38 years.
