Hankering to build a media desk

I am looking for ideas on building an L-shaped "type" desk. My plan is to have it jutting out rather than into the corner of the room with access from the left or right wall, then I would build a few shelves for a turntable and casstte deck and storage for vinyl and cassettes
I really :thinking: don't want a simple L maybe rounded any Ideas outside the Box?

Kidney shaped is a possibility, I was thinking of making it a two piece foldable with casters or with file cabinet for base with casters I need some Help!!! Ideas, pictures. :snappy:
