Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Here is the one I was building but stopped. I figured why waste the above space when instead I could use it for storage. It also helped protect the door area from some of the weather.
Long time researching the abandoned South Pennsylvania Railroad along the Pennsylvania Turnpike. God will guide me. As he has done so in the past. southpennrailroad.com

I have been in the same "Shed Fix" since I am losing my 2 car garage after buying a mobile home. The cars will be under a car port but the teardrop need 100% protection. I priced out materials at the box store (yeah...) and it was cheaper to buy a metal shed, but that still was an unpleasant option.

I was rescued by my best friend who had picked up a frames wood shed from a customer of his as a throw away item. It came with the foundation and the four walls. The roof had shingles on it and was too heavy for him, but I can build a roof, and I got it in a trade for my $200 miter saw and it is 12x8 exactly enough room for the teardrop after I make the tongue removable.

Point being you might get to know your backwoods areas and look for deals there. Also keep a sharp eye out on Craigslist too.

If you decide to build you can do it in stages as money allows. Build the frames then put a roof on it so you have a "carport" then attach the sides when you get the $$$ for that material. That's why I get so many things for cheap and fix them up nice because I can afford them that way.

Good luck!

Indeed! The photo I posted of my shed/garage/pole barn is the culmination of 9yrs... I paid cash, and built it when I had money - often $100 at a time. It spent a winter as a "carport", finished roof on poles... another winter clad in plastic sheeting walls... I think it was a full 7yrs before it had a cement floor & proper walls, doors, windows (no, not a suggestion of how to build). All I wanted in the first place was a dry spot to store my lawnmower over the winter!
