Bean Bag chairs ... ???

Postby GPW » Sun Feb 27, 2011 6:28 pm

Wanted to put a table and 2 chairs in my TT ... The wife, however, is on about Bean bag chairs ... Makes sense , sorta' ... All I remember is those ones from the 60-70, that got holes in them and spewed foam beans everywhere... They are light and comfortable for slouching ... wouldn't add much extra weight to the trailer ... Anybody have experience with the new bean bags out there... ????

We had a big blue one that a grown woman could sleep on. Two of my granddaughters use to fight over who would get it when they came down. Loved it. Not sure where it went but it was big. Not sure I could sit in it and get up off the floor now..

You might try http://www.lovesac.com they have some very nice modern Bean-bag furniture, a bit on the pricy side, for my budget though

but, I remember mine, kind of miss form vs functionality with the lack of formality  was a great chair for the afternoon nap though.

Maybe mine was too small, but I remember it as a great seat, but with no support for my head. And since my body position was somewhat leaning backward, my head really needed support.

Anyway -- I still occasionally see the filler parts in places like Walmart. I bet you could find them somewhere, if you googled. Or phoned Walmart!
