All this computer and internet stuff just confuses me. :surrender: (you'd understand if you knew how long it took me to learn how to post a picture on this site!) :laughter: Think I'll just rob a 7-11 store and pay someone to build a site for me. :laughing1: (now......... to figure out how to spell 7-11 so I can look it up in the phone book)
Chris :D

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

Chris, when I thought I wanted to make a web site, I found this link http://www.merlet.com/. They had and probably still do have tutorials in using HTML. I learned enough to be dangerous, and really got started by copying the source of a website I liked and modifying it. Now, I just copy a page of my own, and modify it with whatever I want to put on it. I got fairly adept as coding HTML, but haven't gotten into Java and some of the more sophisticated code. Nor do I do fancy tables, but could if I wanted to start learning more techniques. My site has over 80 pages on it now, and I've been working on it for 6 or 7 years.

PS: I tried using some web building software, but the end result wasn't as good as what I was doing with my own coding. The web link I posted, also has templates.
