Glad you got the car back Rocky! It appears to be in pretty decent shape.

Hopefully you can get it put back together at minimal cost.

That is mostly good news. Sux that they got away with so many good parts, but at least the guts are still there to start over.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Hey Rocky, it's good to see you got your car back. And pretty much intact!

As for gps tags in photos, yes, the Canon T3i I bought this year has GPS tags on every photo. I hope resizing my photos strips out the gps information. If it doesn't would someone please let me know. Check this photo for example.

Mike, there is no GPS data embedded in that image.

You can view data here: http://regex.info/exif.cgi
Copy and paste the URL, or upload an image directly and you can view all of the EXIF data.

I have the Canon T1i - luv the thing and it's been to many a gathering and campout. Just so you know, I went kicking and screaming into the digital photo age and used my Elan IIe until the last minute.

PS the photo metadata link is awesome!

I am soooo glad you found the car, despite the missing pieces.

Something you've spent lots of time on has memories that the little pieces don't have, but the whole thing does (if that makes any sense).

Hugs,
