Nope, that's not the one. Rob got it thought (http://www.rv-mh-hall-of-fame.org/museum.html). That's why I didn't come back.

Hey Kevin, when something important comes up, you'd be supprised how fast we can be.

Have a good day.

Well...

As you might imagine, Conrad was most pleased at receiving the information so quickly!

He called the company this morning, and spoke at length with the head of the organization.

Seems this fellow and his now deceased brother were the "founding fathers" of the trailer building effort.
He remembered quite well the "good old days" when they built the aluminum trailers.
Said they had an engineer from Grumman design it for them.

They were in production from 1948 through 1950, when they switched to the more common Bethany pop up trailer.

In the three year production run, a total of 15 trailers were built.

Pretty interesting, but even more intriguing are the teardrop trailers they built directly before switching to the "house trailers".

Conrad didn't get any specific info on the teardrops, but plans to contact them again, perhaps even take one of the trailers there to show them.

They claim to have many old photos and brochures...maybe some show the teardrops??

Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

I wonder if they were the actual mfg of the Grumman Teardrop. It sure would be nice to get some more information on the teardrops they mfg'd.

Have a good day.
