The majority of caches today are the reason there are so many, like myself, who are former geocachers. When we started, the "Wal-Mart cache" either didn't exist, or were so few and far between that you didn't mind them. Many of us (almost all the people I used to cache with) gave up when you had to spend more time sorting out the trash from the listings, than you actually spent caching....
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

There is plenty of cache spew available, every cache has a purpose. Most of the cache trash have low ratings. To eliminate the trash, select higher terrain and difficult ratings in the PQ.
