Any practical jokers out there?

A recent office prank involved a 16 ounce cup full of hole punches placed in the A/C vent. The vent was removed, and the full cup inverted and placed on the vent. The vent was replaced. When the office warmed up, the occupant opened it. The place looked like a snow globe in a tornado. I was out in the field & was warned by several co-workers to be prepared. I found about half a jar of peanut butter strategically placed in revenge.
If I knew retirement would be this much fun, I would have done it right out of high school.

Sorry for the length, but this one was pretty good, at least it was when it happened.
A new seaman had been assigned to the USCG Lightship I was stationed on. This lad was somewhat of a smart a$$ and would not respond to the usual forms discipline.
It was the middle of winter and we were approximately 200 miles due east of New York City. After having put up with enough of his antics, the Bosun convened Kangaroo Court. The defendant was sentenced to Walk the Plank. A plank was assembled and made ready. The unfortunate seaman was blind folded and led out on deck. After being walked all over the vessel and spun around he was completely disoriented. When the offer for a Bible verse was made it was readily accepted, anything to delay the inevitable. The Bible was fetched and the following verse was read “copyright 1942”. The offended was put in a life jacket and lifted onto the plank and then lead to the end. Upon reaching the end he was told to jump. We raised him off the plank and set onto the deck. He later stated the 18 inch drop felt like a mile. I have never sensed that much fear from anyone. He had absolutely no idea that he was never over the water or never noticed the we were holding on to him during the walk to the end.

at airplane mechanic school car pranks were quite common as most of us already worked on cars.
half way through each school day we all had to drive from the shop building to the class room building, and pranks happened then. One that happened more than once was the wire run between the horn and the brake light switch. Unfortunately the guy they did it to wasn't driving straight to the class rooms, instead he was going across town to the school administration building, all that stop and go driving caused his horn to be stuck on, when he finally made it up to class he flung the door open and said " I don't know what you guys did, but I want it fixed now!" turns out the local PD pulled him over and checked his registration as well. I actually added this feature to my truck with a switch hidden under the dash it makes a cheap car alarm.
another good one was putting a long plastic tywrap on the drive shaft, the rapping noise gets you attention fast!
My personal best was on a coworker from the British West Indies, his home Island has no snakes and he is terrified of them. He was flying home, so I gave him a ride from work and then parked his car in back at work to save on parking. I carefully hid the key on top of the visor, along with a large rubber snake we used to keep the birds off the airplanes.
He got back late at night, and was searching for the hidden key, when he flipped the visor down, the rubber snake dropped into his lap and he jumped about 10 feet away and yelled so loud the cabby turned around and came back to see if he was ok.
After that I got him with the rubber snake in the microwave, he walked up opened the door and then slammed it as hard as he could when he saw the snake.
