Love is in the Air

Postby droid_ca » Sat Feb 02, 2013 3:26 am

Since Valentines is just around the corner I thought I'd start a new and fun thread
What is something romantic that you would consider sharing so that others may borrow from you to try something new with their partner, mate, date or whom ever

I'll start

You go out and buy an imitation rose and then take it to your local florist and buy eleven long stem roses, get the florist to make a nice bouquet and incorporate the imitation flower. On the card you write "I'll love you until the last flower wilts and dies"or something to that effect. As we all know an imitation flower will last forever

ok now who's next...
There is a world, just beyond now,
where reality runs a razor thin seam between fact and possibility;

Anywhere I roam where I lay my head is home....

If I get badgered enough, I might take her out for a nice romantic meal at the drive thru window at McBarn Yard's Golden Starches.
I should point out that there is no "her" at this point in time.
I'm enjoying my freedom after the divorce and final child support payment.

Slow, that would seem to be the romantic thing that older married couples would do. You know get the farm work done and then fall asleep in front of the TV.......You need to step it up!!!!

I love it.
I just about fell out of my chair laughing.
Sheep shearing for Valentines day is something I would come up with.

Gonna try something new this year. We usually go out for a nice dinner on Valentines day.

This year we will be staying home. I'm putting together a slide show of our 25 years together, holidays, vacations and special moments. The plan is to cook her dinner, then watch the show together.

I've also made up some paper roses to give her with her card. Yeah, it's cheesy, but it's a way to show some time commitment to the love of my life. Check it out on YouTube, they are easy and cheap to do.
The more stuff I take along, the more time I spend taking care of my stuff!

I set my rod and then I went to set her's, while I was baiting it I asked her to grab the beer from the truck and instead of doing the worm on the hook thing I tied a ring to it and cast it.
After many beers and the love stuff that came from my mouth I told her that I think she hooked moby.
As she reeled the line in I gave her the spiel on how much I wanted to marry her.
Well to her surprise there was the ring and boy was she shocked and happy :)
Later the day out of all the guys fishing she caught a fish!

Very cool. I'm sure if I I'd that, it would be lost due to a log or big bass takin it.
