Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Old Pittsburgh

Postby southpennrailroad » Tue Feb 26, 2013 2:33 am

I really didn't expect to let it get this far but it seems that over 4,500 like the new Facebook page I produced on the old pictures of Pittsburgh. I was only trying to find some old shots of Station Square in Pittsburgh when I stumbled on a very large amount of old Pittsburgh photos.

In keeping my tradition of going over board with what I do I have actually posted the photos to my Old Pittsburgh Facebook page as well.

If your interested especially if you have ever been to Pittsburgh then take a peek.

It's good to hear from you, Russ! Thanks for the links.

How are you doing and how is the CT? Are you still living in it? Did you do any more on it since last October? Did you get the ceiling insulated? Winters are hard in PA, especially if you are living in a CT. How's that working out?

I think about White Swan Park every time I drive past that junction of 60 and business 60 (now 376 and business 376).

The state offered to move the park when they took the land through eminent domain. They declined.

Awesome pics, btw.
