I thought some of you restoration guys might like to see this trailer just purchased in Britain for restoration




A bit of a task there, but it is a 1926 Eccles model, so among the very first commercial trailers in this country. And at least rust in the frame isn't a problem:

Something fishy though...it has wire wheels in the first picture, and disc wheels in the rest

It would be a fun project.
Surprising that the Masonite (or similar product) and the 2 x 4 "frame" held up so well over the years.

I think maybe it has a wire wheel on the missing window side and a solid wheel on the other.

I thought so too...at first, but this picture clearly shows two disc wheels...?



However, this picture is of the trailer, up on a trailer, so maybe the one disc/one wire pictures were before, or after loading it on the trailer.
I'll bet the guy hiding behind the trailer in the first picture knows the answer!
