Mine doesn't even show up on the data base.

Same here - 15420. But I don't know if that's from the top or from the bottom...

LAWRENCE is surname number 202 in the USA.

But our European verison - LAURINYECZ - is zero

Since Smith is #1 it looks like it's from the top. That's a LOT more common than I expected!

39448 is where I rank.
there are a lot with my last name but few with the same spelling as me. spell it with a "c" and add an "s" to the end and it ranks 215.

Mine is 26th on the list, but I'm not surprised since there is one in every city and town, and almost every home in the nation.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

My last name on my checks now is the married name I had for 20+ years... McDonald is # 117 on the list.

My maiden name is of German descent and I'm not surprised it is #52,094 on the list. Grall is more common in the Wisconsin/Ohio area than down here. My great great grandfather (dad's side) had a brother or cousin that came from German too and apparently was more fertile and stayed more north .... hahaha
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!
