Ira to Coral Springs--DROP DEAD!!!

Postby Ira » Mon Oct 30, 2006 4:27 pm

I had the TD home since last Sunday.

And yesterday, I get a summons "warning" for parking the TD in the driveway--and a $49 REAL summons for parking the truck on MY grass.

DROP DEAD!

DROP DEAD ALL OF YOU!

I HATE YOUR GUTS!

AMERICA SUCKS!!!
Here we go again!

Really pi$$ um off Ira and drive ruts all over your yard or plant weed in your yard and tell them it is xeriscape.

Sorry to hear about your summons...I hope this doesn't come out of your Beer fund.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Ira. Early on I heard about the rules and regulation in some of the housing tracts I decided then I would never buy a house there, no mater how nice it was.

I know it has to suck to get a ticket for parking something you own in your own yard/driveway.

What are your rules about portable garages? Maybe you could spend the cash get one of those. I would think it woudl pay itself off pretty quick as compared to boat storage fees and/or fines.

I keep a 5 ton tip truck, bobcat on trailer, work trailer, Teardrop, pick up all parked in my backyard. No probs here.
And I live 10 minutes from downtown Adelaide, not out in the sticks :o

Maybe you should move Downunder, Ira

Cheers

IRA,

You could always move to Lake Orion... You could work at the TTT proving grounds... and most importantly, you can park your truck anywhere in your yard...

Plus if I run out of beer, I'll know who to go and visit! ;)

Ira,
Are these city ordinances or a subdivision CC&R's?

Seems awfully restrictive, but then again you must have been aware of them before you moved in. Can you only paint your house the appropriate shade of beige?

No fun living in a nanny state.

My parents retired to Coral Springs and lived ther for 30 years. I couldn't visit with my pick up or conversion van. Very restrictive to say the least. When I went down for his funeral in a plain white ford van I got one of their tickets the day of the service.

Sounds to me like it's Coral Springs that sucks.

So move to Mexico - they should have lots of room since their entire population seems to be moving here.

Ira,

I learned about "Neighborhood Associations" the hard way too. That's one reason I am living in my 5'th wheel now. I have no intention of staying in this part of Texas when I retire so will not buy anything else around here. The Negh Ass (is that an approiate abreviation?) drove me crazy for the short 3 months I allowed them to.

Get out of there! Buy some dirt that is really yours and forget the "better than thou" idiots who care whether you cut your grass, rake your leaves, or even wear a kilt in the front yard.

I hate those folks, but NOT America.

Gotta tell ya, Id be upset too, but would stop short of cursing the whole country. Its not what America was supposed to be. Land of the free home of the brave? Sounds like the commies have taken over or maybe the police have stopped all the other real crimes like murder, drugs etc and thought parking on your own property worthy of notice.
Wished you could drag city hall through a knot hole huh?
