It nailed me, although I have been away from where I grew up for 50 years.

I would say the test is busted...it sez I havva "midlands" accent...anybody, who has ever talked to me, person to person, will have no doubt, that I am from the DEEP South...I think that his premise's are based on education and reading abilities as much as the region you are from.....

Welllllll, after reading a few other posts, I went back and took the test again...this time I said the words outloud repeatedly to get the proper nuances...and lo and behold, it sez, I am from the deep South....imagine that

it put me in midland but its hard to tell where im from since i have lived in so many different places i keep picking up little accents and leaving some behind every where i go
except when i lived in florida and it was obvious i wasnt from there

The test is bogus...it said I was from Midland also, and I was born, raised, and lived all my life in Texas!

It said I was midland and I am born and raised on the west coast. Havent lived more than 15 miles from the Pacific ocean.

the question about saying "on" I don't say it like Lawn or John.
I say it with a long o. So they didn't have an answer for me.
