Can you get a pic for those of us that are getting rained on?

Yep..... I'll second that picture thing. We are completely overcast, because we are expecting snow and sleet tonite, so any help with pictures would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's pretty neat...and it's clear as can be here, but the moon is so high that it's not as striking as some lunar eclipses I have been fortunate to witness. But, again...it's still pretty cool. My son and a friend drove up on the ridge away from town lights to get a better look-see.

The best lunar eclipse I've ever seen was back in the summer of 1981...at 2:00am, lower on the horizon, looking huge and it was blood red. It really took your breath away.

Craig once did a elapsed time video of a lunar eclipse...that was pretty cool, too.

We live on an amazing planet and oppotunities like this help remind us of it.

Wish more of you were able to see and enjoy it.

In south western Indiana the moon is blue---one of the prettiest I've seen--the shift in the shadows color as it gors from the preumbra to the umbra of the shadow.

For those behind clouds, there are some live webcams---just turn the lights off in the computer room and place the screen so you're facing east.

Cloudy in Phoenix tonight, and I much rather have seen that missile hit that satelite.

The rain moved out about 4:30 tonight, so up here in the High Desert it was wonderful. We had an eclipses a few months back much later at night that I think was better. But this one was good and Tanya even got to see it this time. :applause: I always like it when my wife is happy.

We missed it - with the overcast sky and snow.

Well I guess I'll have to wait to 2010.

I spent about 30 minutes out on my porch in -5 degrees trying to catch a good shot. It was really fun to watch the whole thing. This was the best I got.
