Happy Birthday, Jack! :P

Gorgeous guitar... I wanna say Gretsch or Gibson... but don't know enough of contemporary instruments to know. And what veneer is that exactly? Maple?

It must sound very sweet. :M

Yesterday Aunti M. I thought I was on the calender but haven't looked lately. I'm old enough not to care I guess.

It is a Xaviere. Closest match would probably be an Epiphone John Lennon Casino. Maple semi-hollow body dog ear P-90 pickups and sweet is the right description. Beautiful finish also. This brand is sold by Guitarfetish, my company computer blocks it or I would post a link. Something about the fetish part I would assume.

I don't have anything on the net of my wonderful playing  .
I probably do need to sometime.

Jack

PS: Linda also airbrushed the Sacred Heart design on the Les Paul in the background.

That is a fine looking axe.

What kind of music do you turn out on that?

If you answer, "...guitar music...", I will hunt you down.

Thanks for the link Cliff.
I play in a church praise band so some contemporay Christian some classic rock some blues even a country tune or two.

I started actually playing two years ago this month. I bought a guitar a year prior but spent a year figuring out the physics of playing it and that is what I came up with.
I play harmonica also racked when I am playing guitar, handheld in Church services usually.

I'm not going pro anytime soon but I play in public quite a bit anymore and rarely do people scream and run away.

Chris

I replaced my 96 Ranger with an 03 Focus ZTS. CD Silver 5 sp. I love the way that thing handles. Not big enough to tow the TTT but I'll work that out somehow

Right on.

The Focus is a highly underrated car here in the States. Too few realize that it's a euro Ford design that had to, out of the gate, be better than the dominating european Ford Escort it replaced. You're the third person I've seen here on T&TTT that has admitted to pwning one.

Again, Jack, Happy Birthday! :vroom:

From one guitar player to another, nice score. I've trying to cure myself of GAS (guitar acquisition syndrome), but I've not yet had success.

I'm actually quite interested in the physics you employ. Is your work mostly the overhand technique shown in the photo above, or are you into using a slide? Do you use alternate tunings?
Cheers,
