Goodbye to my best friend

Goodbye to my best friend

Postby Mary K » Fri Nov 26, 2010 7:45 pm

I know I don't post here as much as I used too, but I just wanted to post a goodbye to my Buddy Cori.

I couldn't have asked for a better dog.

All dogs die too soon.

I'm so sorry, Mary K, to hear that you've lost your best friend. That's always hard. Take good care of yourself and give yourself some slack until you are ready for another fur-buddy.

Hugs to you for the loss of your furkid. He's on the other side of the rainbow bridge, romping around like a puppy.

Hugs,
Ratkity

Sorry to hear about your loss, Mary K. When I had my little Maltese put down, the administrator that did the deed, stroked her little 5 lb body and said, "Now Liza's going to be with her Mommy, again". What a nice thought.

Nevertheless, it still brings tears to your eyes, but it is heartbreaking to see them go though the pain of suffering. Now, why is it that our pets must die before we do? I guess, so we can rescue another poor animal that needs a loving home, to sooth our sorrow. Good luck.

Thanks Roly. Letting her go was the hardest and easiest decision I'v ever made. She had a rough 6 months and in and out of the vets... Im just glad she is not suffering now.

My Mollie is the most loving and loyal friend I've ever had. It seems to me, her only duty in life, is to love me. My heart goes out to you Mary. Treasure the memories.

They are a lot more than "man's best friend." They really are family and it's so hard to say goodbye. I'm sorry for your loss.

Im so sorry to hear about your friend Mary K. I know exactly how you feel. I carried our friend into the car for her last trip and to the vet to be put to sleep. She was a nice companion for 13 years, An Irish Springer Spaniel. It was the saddest day in our lives.

And its been 5 years ago. Still her memory goes on with us almost everyday.

Sending you our best with hugs from our entire family here in Finland.
Sure have missed you on the forum as well.

Our 2 girls send you hugs too. The youngest at 10 weeks "Siru" and "Una" at just a tad over 2 years. :)

Everyone that we camp with have met Wendall ... but we also had a highland terrior that turned 18 this past June. About a month ago ... she went outside .... and went out in the back woods like she did a lot ... but never came back. We knew it was close to her time to go .... but we really miss her. Animals become a very big part of your life and their passing can have a big impact. Trudy
