It is supposed to be every bit as good as Office and it's free.
Open Office
Also only about 120MB to download as opposed to around 600 for Office.

There are lots of good picture editors out there and a large part of them are free too.
Some of these guys might know them better than me.

Thanks everyone.

There were many of you who gave some good pointers and advice so believe me Im proud of you folks and thankful. And so is the wife as well as our lil man of the family. He can now get back on to his favorite kids sites..

Ohh yes and I am happy to get back online to my favorite site and friends. :applause:

Now the only thing that I have on my thoughts the entire time is how I can save some of the emails that we feel are important?

What name was it you call the email files? Crs I guess :) :)

Try this link for more information: http://www.sitedeveloper.ws/tutorials/o ... ookexpress

The file extensions are .dbx.

Here is a quote from a post that I made earlier:

If you can not get to the drive with Windows OS, then you need to get the HD slaved to another machine. If you can get to the drive at all, you need to look in: C:\documents and settings\(Name of user of the email acount)or(might just be computer name)\local settings\Application data\identities\(maybe another folder with lots of numbers and letters)\Microsoft\Outlook Express. Just copy all of the files there.

You may also be able to just do a search for *.dbx and retreive all of those files.

For future reference: In Outlook Express, go to File- Export- messages and export them as a .pst file on a seperate drive or disk on a regular basis (maybe once or twice a week)

Another thing: Get a good backup program like Acronis TrueImage and keep a current backup copy of your whole dirve. If it dies, you can restore the copy to a new drive and be back up and running in no time at all.

Hope that helps.

So good it hurt ;) But that might have been caused by the alcohol

Joe Cocker is one talented dude. He was supported by two of Australias premier artists. Renee Geyer and Jimmy Barnes. It was a great show.
Cheers

Well... After that last Super Bowl commercial, I'd say that they went to GoDaddy. :R

Good Monday morning everyone,
Hope you all had a great week end. How about that game. At some points, I thought the commercials were better then the game. Tom Petty rocked, much better then the Stones last year. I guess the game would have been better if I cared about either team, but I had no dog in that fight, so I mainly watched the Star Trek marathon on Sc-Fi channel. Have a good week.
